About this Story
Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator
Royal priests prepare the body of Cleopatra for mummification in August 30 BC. Cleopatra VII Thea Philopator was queen of the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt from 51 to 30 BC, and its last active ruler. Her tomb has never been found. Most archeologists assume that Cleopatra's grave is in ancient Alexandria. But this would mean that it's submerged underwater.
