2023 marks the 50th celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, which takes place every year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. The 2023 Hispanic Heritage Month national theme is "Vive tu cultura." The national observation began in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover 30 days starting Sept. 15.

This gallery features Love Does, an organization that fights for freedom and human rights, works to improve educational opportunities, and tries to be helpful to those in need of a voice and a friend.  Love Does programs include education programs in India, a leadership academy in Uganda, and a girl's home in Nepal. Numerous initiatives are also taking place in countries such as Somalia, Afghanistan, Congo, Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Poland, Israel, and Burkina Faso.  The art in this gallery has been built by Hoolock and members of it's community.
