Bridging the Gap: The Critical Role of Women in STEM for Innovation and Equality
STEM careers are some of the fastest-growing and highest-paying jobs; thus, encouraging female participation helps bridge the gender pay gap and promotes economic equality. Representation matters: as more women enter these fields, it creates role models for younger generations, showing that gender does not limit one’s career path. Addressing the gender imbalance in STEM fields is not just a matter of fairness or equality; it's essential for developing a society that uses all of its potential talent to advance technologically and scientifically.
About this Organization
The Ed Ladder
The Ed Ladder is a non-profit formed by educators in 2013 to assist under-served learners. This includes students who are low income, English language learners, have special needs, are in foster care or recently adopted, or are experiencing homelessness.
