About this Story
Railroad pocket watch
In frames thus held, echo streaks of yore, On rails that threads of iron lore bore. Minutes and hours, a dance so fine, Each cog and wheel in flawless line. Perils loomed where chaos reigned, Sacrifice of lives untamed. Yet, each tick to tock bound steadfast, In this ballet of shadows vast. Matched waltz through time's expanse, Across the rail-rotunda's dance. Through order, chaos would recede, A testament to time’s measured deed.
