About this Story
Under the surface
In depths concealed from curious eyes,
There dwells a pod with clever guise,
Graceful dolphins of nature's own devise.
Untouched by man's falsehood and blare,
In spectral silence, they make their lair;
We know not of their existence there.
Do they frolic, are they austere?
'Tis unknown until they appear,
Without motive but to endear.
In fond salutation, they vault and twirl,
A secret whisper in the ocean's swirl,
Of friendly beasts in their hidden world.
